Introduction to Gary Chaffee

Hello! My name is Gary Chaffee, and I am a conservative candidate for the Georgia House of Representatives.

Who I am:
For most of my life, I have been a First Responder and health care provider, most recently in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Kennestone Hospital. I will work hard to advance salaries for our firefighters, EMTs, Paramedics, and Police officers. They are our first line of defense for public safety.

I am a proud veteran and will do all I can to help benefit our veterans. I have been a Cobb County resident for 39 years, and my children grew up in Cobb County schools. I am willing to fight hard for teachers who have our most precious resource in their hands, and I will vote to ensure that our schools reflect and teach the values of most citizens, not just a few.

Now retired, I have turned my focus to doing what I can to make the world a better place for my wife of 50 years, Jan, my three grown children, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild!

What I stand for:

I believe we are one nation under God and that every citizen should be able to worship however they choose, without governmental interference.

I am a strong believer in our Constitution and will do everything in my power to uphold its principles and values.

I am pro-life and believe that every human has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

I will work hard for the safety of our citizens, especially as it pertains to making sure that our citizens are safe from illegals by supporting border control and enforcing harsher penalties for those who commit crimes.

I believe in a reduced governmental bureaucracy and a balanced budget.

I support small business owners who need financial help from taxes and stricter government regulations so that they do not go to bed at night worrying about higher taxes and inflation, but rather spending their creative energies on providing higher-quality products and services for our great state.
